Wosk — Terms of Use
Version 1.0 · Effective 26 July 2026
Published at https://wosk.web.app/terms. The app links here from the paywall and from Settings → Terms of use.
1. Who you are agreeing with
Wosk is an independent app developed and operated from Poland ("we", "us"). Contact: favamvv@gmail.com.
By installing or using Wosk you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
2. What Wosk is — and what it is not
Wosk is an entertainment app. You upload screenshots of a conversation you are part of, and an AI model produces a stylised interpretation of it: a verdict with a number on it, a message-by-message read, flags, an attachment-style guess and some suggested next moves.
Wosk is not, and must not be used as:
- psychological or psychiatric advice, assessment, screening or diagnosis — of you or of anybody else;
- therapy or counselling, or a substitute for either;
- medical advice of any kind;
- legal advice, or evidence, or an expert opinion, in any proceeding;
- a lie detector, a fidelity test, or a factual claim about anyone's intentions, character, mental state or behaviour.
The output is one AI system's reading of a fragment of text. It has no access to tone of voice, history, context, or the other person's side of anything. It will sometimes be confidently wrong. It is written to be entertaining and direct, and that style is not a claim to accuracy.
Do not make consequential decisions on the basis of a Wosk analysis. If you are worried about a relationship, your safety or your mental health, talk to a professional. If you are in immediate danger, call your local emergency number — 112 in the EU.
3. You must be 18 or older
Wosk is rated 18+ and there is a blocking age gate on first launch. By using the app you confirm you are at least 18. If we find out you are not, we will delete your account and your data.
You may not use Wosk to analyse a conversation involving anyone under 18. If our safety classifier detects one, the analysis is blocked, no result is produced and you are not charged.
4. What you may and may not upload
You may upload only conversations you are personally part of. You confirm this on the consent screen before your first upload, and it is a condition of using the app.
You may not:
- upload a conversation between other people, obtained by any means;
- upload content you obtained by accessing someone's device or accounts without permission;
- use Wosk to harass, stalk, monitor, intimidate, expose or build a case against another person;
- upload conversations involving minors;
- publish or share an analysis in a way that identifies the other person without their agreement;
- attempt to break, scrape, reverse-engineer, automate or overload the service, or to work around the rate limits, the paywall or App Check;
- resell or redistribute the output as your own product or as a professional assessment of anyone.
We may suspend or terminate access, without a refund, if you break these rules. Rate limits apply to all accounts and are enforced on the server.
Note that uploading somebody else's private conversation, or publishing an identifiable analysis of a named person, may expose you to liability under privacy, data protection or defamation law. That risk is yours, not ours.
5. Your account
Wosk creates an anonymous account on first launch — no email, no password, no sign-in of any kind. We never ask who you are, and there is nothing to log in to.
The trade-off is real and worth stating plainly: because the account is anonymous and device-bound, losing or wiping the device loses your history, and we cannot recover it for you — we have no way to prove it was yours. Your subscription is unaffected: it lives with Apple or Google, not with us, and "Restore purchases" on the paywall brings it back on a new device.
6. Free use, and what Pro costs
Free. Every new account gets one free analysis. You see the verdict and the score; the rest of the read is covered until you subscribe.
Wosk Pro is an auto-renewing subscription with two options:
| Plan | Product identifier | Trial |
|---|---|---|
| Weekly | app.wosk.weekly | 3 days free |
| Annual | app.wosk.annual | — |
Prices are shown in the app in your own currency, taken live from the App Store or Google Play for your country. We do not quote a price here because it differs by store and territory, and the store's own displayed price is the one that binds. The price is always shown, together with the billing period, on the purchase screen before you buy.
Pro unlocks the full decoded read, red and green flags with citations, attachment styles, next moves, generated reply drafts, up to five follow-up questions per conversation, and unlimited analyses.
7. Free trial
The weekly plan starts with a 3-day free trial for users who have not had one before. Eligibility is determined by Apple or Google, not by us.
- The trial converts into a paid subscription automatically when it ends.
- To avoid being charged you must cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, in the App Store or Google Play — cancelling inside Wosk is not possible, because we do not hold the subscription.
- Any unused part of a trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
- One trial per store account. Deleting the app, or your Wosk account, does not reset trial eligibility.
8. Renewal, cancellation and refunds
Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price, and keep renewing until you cancel. The charge is taken by Apple or Google within 24 hours of the end of the current period.
Cancellation. Cancel any time in the store:
- iOS — Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Wosk → Cancel.
- Android — Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Wosk → Cancel.
Settings → Manage subscription inside Wosk deep-links to the right place. After cancelling you keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for.
Deleting your Wosk account does not cancel your subscription. The subscription belongs to your store account, not to us. The app warns you about this on the deletion screen. Cancel in the store as well.
Refunds are handled by the store that took your money, under its own policy — we cannot issue them and cannot see your payment details.
Price changes are announced by the store before they take effect, and depending on the platform may require your consent. You can always cancel first.
9. Right of withdrawal (EU/EEA consumers)
If you are a consumer in the EU or EEA you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract for digital content. Because Pro gives you immediate access to the full analysis, you are asked to agree — at the point of purchase, through the store — that performance begins immediately, which under Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU ends the withdrawal right once performance has started with your express consent.
Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by anything in these Terms. Whether or not the withdrawal right applies, the store's own refund policy still does, and it is usually more generous.
10. AI output, and its limits
Analyses are generated by large language models operated by Google Cloud (Vertex AI). See docs/legal/ai-disclosure.md, published as the AI disclosure page, for what exactly is machine-generated and how it is labelled.
You accept that AI output:
- may be inaccurate, incomplete, or simply wrong;
- may attribute a message to the wrong person, which changes the meaning of everything after it;
- is probabilistic — the same conversation may produce a different read on a different day;
- expresses no factual claim about anyone's intentions, feelings, character, mental health or conduct;
- must not be presented to anyone else as a professional assessment.
Every result carries a visible disclaimer saying the same thing, and a Report this analysis link. If an analysis is offensive, harmful or wrong, please use it. We read every report.
11. Safety
If the classifier detects threats, violence, coercion, stalking or self-harm in an uploaded conversation, Wosk drops the entertainment framing for that result: no score, no jokes, no share card, and a block of crisis support numbers instead of "next moves".
Those numbers are provided for convenience. We do not operate them, we are not responsible for them, and they are not a substitute for emergency services. If you are in immediate danger, call 112 (or your local emergency number).
12. Availability
We aim to keep Wosk running but do not guarantee it. Features may change or be withdrawn; the service depends on Apple, Google, Google Cloud and RevenueCat and can be interrupted by any of them. If we permanently discontinue Wosk we will give reasonable notice and stop billing.
13. Intellectual property
The app, its design, its wording and its taxonomy are ours. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Wosk on devices you control, for your own non-commercial use.
Your content stays yours. We claim no ownership of the conversations you upload or the results generated from them, and we do not use them to train AI models. We process them only to run the service, as set out in the Privacy Policy.
You may share exported result cards. They carry the wosk.app wordmark; please leave it on, and leave name-blurring on.
14. Liability
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — including your mandatory rights as a consumer.
Subject to that: Wosk is provided for entertainment, and to the fullest extent the law allows we are not liable for any decision you take because of an analysis, for any effect on a relationship, or for indirect or consequential loss. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
15. Termination
You can stop at any time: cancel in the store, delete your data or your account in Settings, and uninstall. We can suspend or terminate access if you break these Terms, if we must for legal reasons, or if we discontinue the service. Sections 2, 10, 13, 14 and 16 survive termination.
16. Law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country you live in, and you can bring proceedings there.
The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform is at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. You can also write to favamvv@gmail.com first — it is usually faster.
17. Changes to these Terms
We will publish a new version with a new date here, and where the change is material we will ask you to accept it in the app before your next analysis.
18. Apple-specific terms
Required by Apple, and true:
- These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not a party.
- Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for Wosk.
- If Wosk fails to conform to any warranty, you may tell Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price; beyond that Apple has no warranty obligation.
- Apple is not responsible for claims about the app, including product liability, regulatory non-compliance or consumer protection claims.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
